Alice is a performance artist working in live art, dance, cabaret and theatre. Her work is light and provocative. She has developed a considered style of physical performance that is visual, expressionate, playful, clown-like and sensitive. She has made performance for the outdoors, durational work, pieces for club context, gallery setting and traditional theatre spaces.


She makes work independently and in collaboration with other artists. Alice is co-artistic director of Figs in Wigs, a five-strong female performance company whose work is an unconventional mix of theatre, live art, comedy and dance. With an antiquated sense of humour they use puns, bad jokes and pop culture references to charm and disarm audiences of all ages. 


Alice has choreographed for Bryony Kimmings, Sink The Pink and Duckie.  Alice has also made performance work with GETINTHEBACKOFTHEVAN, Viv Gordon and Tom Roden (R&D), Vic Lewellyn (R&D),  Robert Pacitti, Hunt & Darton, Caroline Wright and Helen Paris.


She has performed nationally and internationally. Regional theatres and small black box spaces to main space auditoriums inc. Pleasance Theatre London, Soho Theatre London, Battersea Arts Centre London, Cambridge Junction, New Wolsey Ipswich, ICA Glasgow, HOME Manchester, Arnolfini and Bristol Old Vic. Alice has presented work in Dublin, Prague, Naples and Brussels. Her film work has been screened at BFI Flare Festival.


She has facilitated workshops about making art at Queen Mary, University of London, UAL, Heart&Soul and Portland Inn Community Project (Stoke). She has delivered a module in performance making at Arden, School of Theatre, Manchester.
